Domaine Thibert 2015 Release

Stunning wines that over deliver time and time again.

Finding that something special in Burgundy can sometimes feel like a monumental quest and never more than at the moment with frosts, hail and record low production thwarting the last two vintages. In the wake of the devastation, we have never been more grateful to have the rock that is Domaine Thibert. Seemingly oblivious to the chaos around them Christophe and Sandrine continue to deliver stunning wines that over deliver time and time again.

We tasted their entire range very recently and we've chosen our two favourites both of which totally knocked our socks off, completely delivering all the perfection that you want from top white Burgundy but at a sensible price. I'd really recommend taking a mixed case of the two to really appreciate how brilliant Christophe and Sandrine are at producing wines that sing of their terroir. In the Saint Véran you can almost feel those limestone soils with its super precise minerality and lemon sorbet like core, whereas the Pouilly-Loché is a little richer and more savoury, perfect for your roast chicken dinner or a seafood extravaganza.
