Tasting Notes
Originally produced especially for the UK, Manzanilla 'I Think' from Sanlucar de Barrameda is a remarkable bang-for-your-buck bottling, and a superb intro to Equipo Navazos. Aged for four and half years under flor and bottled 'en rama' after the lightest of filtration, it boasts plenty of fabulous salty, bready flor-tinged aromatics and lots of power, with a racy saline frame and long, tangy finish. Incredibly vibrant and bone dry. It's the sort of bottle I always want to have in my fridge.

It is a remarkable turn of events how two friends: sherry fanatic, wine writer and criminology professor Jesús Barquín and Eduardo Ojeda, technical director at Grupo Estevez (which includes the renown sherry houses of Valdespino and La Gitana) have gone from solely bottling special wines for themselves and their friends, to becoming one of the most celebrated producers of the region.
