Tasting Notes
The hallmark purity of fruit that John Duval is so well known for, with such depth and concentration of flavours - blackberries and blackcurrants, lavender, violets, and a hint of hoisin like perfume. It smells divine. The luxurious, velvety mouthfeel and concentration of fruit is balanced by a beautiful line of acidity and it has a finish that goes on and on. This really is stunning.

The past five vintages of his Entity Shiraz have earned 96, 97, 99, 97, 93 points from Australian critic James Halliday, and the 2017 vintage even beat Henschke’s Hill of Grace to claim the title of Australia’s Shiraz of the Year (this wine sells for £500 per bottle, as does Penfold’s Grange!).
