Tasting Notes
It smells and tastes really smart and is at a perfect point of maturity to drink now, with hints of berry, wine-soaked oak, mahogany, old library, old oak, sous- bois, with a touch of the really delicious kind of flavour you get with a really good gravy made with excellent stock and wine.
More Info
It comes from a Chateau in Bergerac that has a soil composition similar to St Emilion, and it's made with a blend that you'd find there of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. They’ve invested loads in the vineyard and cellar to get things tip top.
