One of the most exquisite mouthfuls of wine I've ever had. This is made in the Amarone method with dried grapes from Valpoliciella. The grapes are dried about one month longer than for Amarone, so about five months. Try with dark chocolate or dark chocolate tart or mousse, or some aged parmesan or pecorino.
Corvina 40%, Corvinone 30%, Rondinella 25%, Molinara 5%. Wonderful with dark chocolate, sweet Gorgonzola and old cheeses.
