Ever been put off by disappointing Jurancon? Think again. So tantalising - dry but mellifluous, with apricot kernel, cooked bramley apple with a scattering of toasty, crunchy oats and cobnuts. An awful lot to sink your teeth into and ponder over, as you enjoy with some delicious salted almonds (our favourite pairing.)  It almost has something salted almond about it on the palate too, and with baked hay as well. Excellent with roast chicken, pork with dried fruits, slightly but not overly spicy dishes. It's a wow wine. But I would put it as a double black, in skiing terms. You have to be up for something a bit different and know certain styles of wines to appreciate this. Vibrant tropical notes of Victoria pineapple and mango. The nose offers incredible intensity, while the palate follows through with richness, structure, and depth. Bold yet balanced by a fine acidity and fresh energy, this is a powerful wine with impressive complexity. \"2023 was chaotic in the foothills of the Pyrenees. The 1,500 mm of rain and high spring temperatures wiped out 70% of our harvest. Faced with such a small harvest, we decided to produce only one wine, representative of the estate and this very complicated vintage.
