On the palate, this is impressively deep and rich. Mouth-filling and yet balanced by great freshness. A powerhouse of finesse, if that is not a contradiction in terms. Almost savoury on the finish thanks to that long lees ageing, ripe yellow fruit flavour balanced by citrusy acidity. Creamy riches, carried by the fine and persistent mousse. Very long. Even better than the 2013 tasted in 75-cl bottle in 2017." 18pts Decanter
