From a more famous 'cru' this wine is deeper than the Teorema, and with an extra layer of fruit, absolutely gorgeous. It could do with a bit more time to unfurl, and by all means cellar some, but it's such fun to drink it alongside the Teorema. It would be wonderful with pigeon, or with pappardelle with a good wild boar or hare ragu.
I was first introduced to Marco Molino and his father, Tommaso, by our friends from the Montalcino producer Cupano, over a dinner in Verona. It's been a pleasure to gradually get to know them, and fanstastic to see the progression in quality in the last few years. Wow!
