Tasting Notes
A unique and fresh take on Moscatel from a region traditionally known for its fortified wines, this is exotic and extremely expressive with bags of balanced freshness and a bit of chew on the finish. Elderflower, lemon peel, sun ripened peppers and a hint of bitter orange on the nose, which carries through to the palate. Quite savoury in a way as well, and with exotic woody spice, like walking through a Turkish bazaar and passing stands groaning with every spice available. The finish is long and with slight chewiness and chalky tannins. It would be amazing with line-caught seabass and an orange and fennel salad.
