Tasting Notes
This is the sort of Cabernet that might not first catch your eye, or do well in a blind tasting. It doesn't shout at you or perhaps seem as striking, particularly when tasting young. But, it's the wine's balance, precision and focused intensity that caught our attention. It has an oh-so-fine leafy, cool climate Cabernet lifted perfume. a fine-bone china like frame, with such poise and quiet power. There's a kiss of tar and plums on the palate, with a stony, celery-salt-sprinkled quiet power to it. So sleek, and beginning to gain a bit of weight just now in early 2022. This will cellar for many years to come. For the moment, other people haven’t spotted how good this wine is, but we reckon it’s one of the best value Cabernet Sauvignons from anywhere in the world.
