Tasting Notes
This is a Chianti Classcio with such elegance and freshness. We drank this at the weekend with venison lasagne and it slips down beautifully, and like all fine wine, you just wish you had another bottle to hand. Very good with lamb too with lots of rosemary. You’ll also find this excellent to drink in a few years to come and we look forward to seeing how it ages over the next 6-8 years.
More Info
This fledgling producer has put everything they can into buying the right patches of soil and hiring a top consultant. The 2018 is their coming of age as this wine joins a list of pedigreed producers. And rightly so – for this wine brings such purity and finesse from the high altitude vineyards that are situated in Greve - on the border of both the famous localities of Panzano and Badia a Passignano (home of Antinori Solaia).
