Tasting Notes
Miles away from the ripe jammy, style many people associate with the grape. Welcome to the Garnacha revolution! Pale in the glass, it's lifted and elegant, with fresh red fruit, torn flower petals, a sprinkling of pink peppercorns and allspice and savoury notes. Long and fresh, with chalky, fine tannins. Simply quivering with energy. Directly translating as "the grapes of wrath" this is bright spark winemaker Dani's village wine, produced from five vineyards close to the small town of El Real de San Vicente.
More Info
Dani Landi first made his name with family winery Bodegas Jimenez Landi before setting out on his own, in the pursuit of making the ultimate terroir expressive wines of the Sierra de Gredos. The wines are ethereal. Elegant, transparent and proudly speaking of their terroir: the wild landscape, the ancient vines, high elevation, and sandy, granitic soils. They’ve been declared “Spain’s answer to cru level Burgundy” and we highly doubt there’s any one winemaker who has received more positive press in the last 5 years than Dani Landi!
