Intensely aromatic, packed with raspberry, black cherry, red fruit compote with some savoury notes and soft, silky tannins. Little Beauty Pinot Noir is described by Eveline as “the friend we all want at our table. Gorgeous company”. Silky in texture, with a lovely palate weight and such a gorgeous melange of pinot characteristics - smoky barrel ferment characters of peat and forest floor, as well as sweet cherries, luscious boysenberry and ripe blackberries. It provides really super drinking now but will be excellent in another year or two, showing off more developed notes.
Drink with: duck, lamb, fish, vegetable noodles and pasta with mushrooms. This will be a very dependable dinner party red. I enjoyed drinking this immensely at home recently with bream. It accompanied the meal and the conversation perfectly, chipping in at just the right time, never overwhelming, and it made us all feel like we'd had a bit of luxury.
