Soli has been one of our best-selling wines for nigh on to 10 years now. That an unknown Bulgarian red could have become so would hardly have been imaginable back then, but that's the job trust did. Now we have another Miroglio nugget of gold to introduce you to... Edouardo Miroglio Soli merlot.
With plums, ripe blackcurrant and bramble, with notes of oak and a hint of cedar and tobacco, with a faint hint of the lovely balancing herbaceous aroma that comes with good Merlot - and a nice amount of freshness. As it opens it gets a bit deeper and fleshes out, suggesting it will go a couple of years in the wine rack, no problem, and even improve.
