Creamy lemon and oyster shell. No oak, just light, lees-flowery, a bit peachy fruit, too. Good concentration actually, plenty on the palate. Mouthwatering and saline minerality, refreshing and very satisfying as a gastro wine.
The key to this lovely little wine is the purity of the fruit. The producer grows organic muscadet grapes (no hangover, not guaranteed - although I have to say, I felt fresh as a daisy the next day), and being certified organic, no chemical additions are used in the cellar either.
FROM THE PRESS
“The wine is rounded while still fresh, packed with lemon and green plum flavors. It is a little young and still tautly structured. This family estate was created in 1880. Drink from late 2020.”Wine Enthusiast
