Sure, they gave us the usual spiel - only free-run juice used, long, loads of battonage, no filtering, yada yada, yada - but nothing they said could explain away that heady sensation of knowing that what you had just drunk was the best thing in the world. How could they? There are more things in heaven and earth than can be explained by the information you find on a wine's tech sheet.
Grapes for Mun are hand-harvested and direct-pressed. There's no maceration and only free-run juice is used. The wine ferments at low temperature for four weeks, adding body to the finished. The wine is left to refine on its lees, with frequent stirring, for five months before bottling.
FROM THE PRESS
“Orange pink. Flinty complex aromas and flavors of quinine, orange liqueur, apricot peel, apple jelly and redcurrant. Harmonious acidity provides lively cut and extends the ginger-accented flavors on the long vibrant and tactile back end. Super Rosato that boasts a ton of flavour”Ian D'Agata - Vinous
