Tasting Notes
Pale salmon pink in colour and bursting with ripe pink fruits on the nose and a subtle yet uplifting herbaceous note. It capers nimbly on the palate with rhubarb fool, nectarine and red apple flavours enlivened by a bright thread of citrus fruit that weaves through it. Dry, smooth and supple, it impresses by how much Pinot Noir character it retains, which can often be lost in a rosé, and is at once bracing and delicate - a clever trick that makes this wine so appealing.
More Info
The purity and weight of the fruit mean that it can afford to be fruity yet dry, so that it is both refreshing and juicy. There's a cool stream of typical northern European acidity running through it, which acts to revivify the palate for the next sip, which can't come soon enough. Delicious with a pint of prawns and lemon mayonnaise or a smoked chicken salad.
