Tasting Notes
For drinking now, I prefer the Cuvee Brut 2015, which is so good. It's one of the most delicious sparkling wines I've ever drunk. It's hugely rewarding!

This is not merely one of the finest English sparkling wines on the market, but it’s another piece of liquid English wine history representing England as it really hits its vinous stride, like we said about Dermot’s micro cuvee bottling ‘Sugrue-Pierre’ when we first sold it in 2013. For anyone still unconvinced about the elegance, finesse, purity and ageability of English sparkling, Wiston Cuvée 2015 is the wine to banish your doubts. This is, we think, the best wine in England, bar none. It is so expressive and very much Grand Cru wine-like to drink. Lemon, creamy peach, white flowers and sweet pastry notes are to the fore. What struck me most, though, was the textural quality (owing to lees ageing combined with fermentation and gentle ageing in neutral barrels). It's supremely elegant, yes, but texturally it's on a different level from most other English sparkling wines.
