Oh so refreshing. It's dry but with a sense of sweet citrus. There are murmurings of blackcurrant and white peach and pear drop, and that tantalising lavender-fazing-into-thyme which trips the light fantastic across the nostril hairs. Strawberrries, dried raspberries, with a peachy, ripe melon palate and a refreshing cranberry and blackcurrant acidity.
This is unmitigated pleasure from first drop to last. Supremely elegant, with good texture but it's as refreshing as a sea breeze. You don't really feel alcohol. You don't feel anything sticking out; just a beautiful, charming, slightly lavender-scented, minerally current of easy pleasure. This is all down that elusive wine quality: balance. Drink with: A sunny day. Everything else is a footnote.
