Tasting Notes
Vinho Verde taken to the next level. Quite rich and scented with both fresh and cooked pink lady apple, new season hay, baked apricots with thyme and a floral, honeyed palate with that unmistakeable Vinho Verde acidity and lively, long finish. So much concentration and 'oomph' for a wine of 12.5%! It's a worthy partner to a great array of dishes including spice and sweet and sour flavours. Goan fish curry, confit trout, mussels in a Thai broth - endless possibilities!

The dynamic duo behind this white are childhood friends and winemakers, the highly-talented Ricardo and Nuno of the Portugal Boutique Winery. Their story began in the Douro making the fantastic, terroir-driven Boina white and red, but eager to experiment in other regions, they sought out some of the best terroir the region of Vinho Verde has to offer and the home of the Loureiro grape variety, the Lima Valley.
