Tasting Notes
A formidable release from the Hunting Hill vineyard, situated on the adjacent hillside to Maté's vineyard. Replanted in 2000, with vines now 20 years old, the resulting wine has immensely balanced power - limey fruit, great tension, pithy citrus, with great volume and superbly structured mouthfeel, and a slightly chalky palate that lingers. No hurry to drink this, Hunting Hill is always the most reserved of the single vineyard releases, but oh boy is it worth the wait. Max 6 bottles
