Tasting Notes
Made by David Maudry, son of Patrick Maudry of Domaine de Fontenille, in Tracy-Sur-Loire, from vines directly next to their Pouilly-Fume vines. I tried it alongside their Pouilly-Fume and it was almost identical.

This is from young vines, but a vineyard not classified at Pouilly-Fume. I pick up on the struck-flint note, and then a nice elegance and gentle tang. Seeing Pouilly-Fume (and Sancerre) getting rather out of reach price-wise this was a nice surprise.
