Tasting Notes
So youthful - so pretty, almost glowing with fruit and such depth. Raspberry coulis with some damson swirled in, a soft hint of baking spice and violets and a merest limestone hint there too. It almost invigorates you as you sip on it, reminding you what a magical substance wine is, and fine Burgundy at that. Delicious now but at its best in 2-3 years time. Produced exclusively from the excellent lieu-dit Aux Etelois, which is wedged between grand cru sites Griottes and Charmes, and shares many of the same characteristics and soils.
