Tasting Notes
Beautiful, expressive aroma, but not over the top in away way, lovely weight, roundness, yet with mineral tension and energy. It’s showing a nice touch of maturity that just gives it that lovely touch of bonhomie. There’s the faintest touch of oak, but only the faintest bit, that adds a lovely seasoning. If you give it some oxygen for an hour, you get a bit more from it, still.
More Info
This is a beautiful wine, that quenches the thirst. You can guzzle the first half a glass, but then it gives you something delicious and interesting to contemplate. When you need a lovely white burgundy that is quite special but doesn't break the bank, then this fits the bill perfectly. Drink with fish starters and fish mains, although it will be excellent with light terrines, and smoked salmon, as well as with white meats.
