Bright, ripe, and ready to go. This Pinot Noir is piled full of red cherries, field strawberries and a brush of charred firewood, enough to embrace the soft and pretty red fruits that shine through. With a glimmer of violets and a gentle lavender mist this Pinot cries value. A soft palate that shows cranberries and fine rolling tannins and lively acidity. A classic example of a Pinot that can clearly be enjoyed on its own or simply paired with a quick mid-week kitchen masterpiece.
Winemaker-negociant Pierre is an energetic and entrepreneurial young man on a mission to shine light on many of the over-looked vineyards close to his hometown. He seeks out interesting plots of vines and growers who prioritise ecologically responsible farming and keeps winemaking simple, without fancy designer yeasts or new oak in his downtown cellar in the historic city of Carcassonne. We love his wines for their authenticity, honesty and how very delicious they are.
