Tasting Notes
Decanter Magazine Top 100 Wines of the Year, 93 points. Plums, ripe blackcurrant and bramble, with notes of oak and a hint of cedar and tobacco, with a faint hint of the lovely balancing herbaceous aroma that comes with good Merlot - and a nice amount of freshness. As it opens it gets a bit deeper and fleshes out, suggesting it will go a couple of years in the wine rack, no problem, and even improve.
More Info
Soli Pinot Noir has been one of our best-selling wines for nigh on to 10 years now. That an unknown Bulgarian red could have become so, and sell in Michelin-starred restaurants would hardly have been imaginable back then. Now we have another Miroglio nugget of gold to introduce you to... Edouardo Miroglio Soli merlot.
