Tasting Notes
The wine has good body and fantastic intensity with floral, peach-apricot and honeysuckle aromatics, but with an acid backbone and minerality and finish that raises it above the level of the merely pleasant to something rather fine.
More Info
Eat with fish, especially the fleshly meaty sort like turbot, halibut, monkfish - cooked very simply would work a treat. It may not have the floaty elegance and quite the ease of his Condrieu, which we hope to get an allocation of later in the year, but at not far off half the price it’s a steal.
