It would be easy (and lazy) of us to spend time talking about the winemaking exploits of Sarah Burton's husband, Blair Walters, the winemaker at Felton Road. It would be doing an extreme disservice to Sarah's career, that we are thrilled to now be involved in. We are so lucky that one of her close friends had told her about us, giving us the chance to be part of her new project in central Otago.
Her debut Pinot, the 2024, Sarah has made just 4 barrels. That’s just 200 cases. We are so fortunate to have been offered 2 barrels. I can't wait to see what follows.
