Christophe and Sandrine Thibert are responsible for some of the Mâcon’s very best wines. Sandrine runs the business side while Christophe makes the wine. His focus is on single parcel expressions and he has a flair for experimentation. Tasting with him is a remarkable experience – he’s justifiably proud, but you also get the sense that he’s still trying to work out how to make it better. The wines are exceptional across the board, with the entry level offerings providing remarkable value, and the top-parcel Pouilly-Fuissé challenging the snobbier preconceptions of just how brilliant top Mâcon wines can be. Thibert is a best-in-class Burgundy producer, one we’re always excited to taste.
