Tasting Notes
Tonnes of limey fruit, green apple crunch and tantalising wet stone acidity. It has all the flavours you usually get with a well made Sauvignon let’s say, but also the minerality and that unique concentration of flavours which Riesling does best. You can enjoy the Winter Riesling by itself, and even Jancis Robinson has confessed to sipping it in the garden. You may expect me to now say it is heaven with Asian food (as that’s what we always have with Riesling, isn't it?) but with quality seafood it is superb, a bit like Sauvignon does, but even better.
