Ferragu
I don't think we've been asked for any wine more than Ferragu, which we first starting shipping in 2009, after discovering it in the Enoteca del Soave. As you know, from 2015, we were no long able to get it. We could never really understand why. I know that some customers went to extreme lengths to get hold of more, including driving to Switzerland to bring some home. But the good new is it's back! The wines is modelled on that of his hero and neighbour, Romano Dal Forno, whose equivalent wine, also called Valpolicella, and gets massive praise from the press, while Ferragu still shuns the limelight, and he wines do not seem to be submitted to famous journalists. But we like that. It makes wines like this a bit of a secret preserve of wine
