So gorgeous, exotic, delicious, and really everything you can pack into a glass of Gewurztraminer – dense fruit hints of Turkish delight and spice and stem ginger. This is an awesome drink. 25g R/S, from a single vineyard in Turkheim with granite soils.

Charles Sparr was put on to us by the Buisson brothers as well as Antoine Gouffier of Domaine du Bouchot. Sparr was one of the big names of Alsace. The brand was sold a few years ago, but the young Charles Sparr clung on to the best vineyards of his family’s estate, and with his wife, Amélie, is making some outstanding wines from them. They're not only organic, but Demeter certified biodynamic too, just like the Buissons and Antoine.
