The colour is deep, the nose exhales aromas of raspberry, and citrus fruits. Some spicy notes too, ginger. The wine is airy, elegant, and subtle, some floral notes also shine through. On the nose is still marked by aromas of vanilla, and notes of aging. Wow! All this in one glass?! The palate is really very long and harmonious. A wine that can be enjoyed immediately but could also be led down for years to come.
From an 18th Century Chateau, comes Chateau Mille Roses, brought to life in 1999. The lands and buildings were inherited by a young David on the sad passing of his parents. When David was old enough, he decided to create his own vineyard and named this place " Mille Roses - Thousand Roses” in honour of his mother's passion for roses. David's aim was also to create aromatic wines; rich and smooth just like roses. At the beginning of the story, it was just a half hectare of vines ! Later, and with his wife Sophie by his side, David continued to increase the size of the vineyard. Today the estate covers 10 hectares and has now moved over to organic production.
