Super classy, fine, spicy cedar box, old fashioned liquorice and raspberry coulis, little bergamot and oud. Excellent example of left bank Bordeaux, from superb terroir between Chateau Cantermerle and Chateau Giscours.

Located between notable estates Chateau Cantemerle and Giscours, Mille Roses was inherited by David in 1999 on the premature death of his parents. At the beginning, they had just 0.5 ha of vines, and with his wife Sophie, they renovated and expanded the estate, which now totals 10ha under vine, certified organic. He named the estate Mille Roses in honour of his mother's passion for roses. They offer beautiful, honest wines from Margaux and Haut-médoc appelations and believe that a rich and well-balanced wine with a personal identity comes first and foremost from its terroir.
