A beautiful, elegant, quite classical style of Montalcino, with lovely ripeness - almost a Burgundian style. It comes from the cru of Montosoli, considered a special site for Brunello di Montalcino for elegance and minerality in the wines.

Jessica Pellegrini started in 2010 with 5 hectares of land that her family bought on the special hillside 'cru' of Montosoli (think of it as a top vineyard in Burgundy or Barolo), yet already she is talked about by peers as one of the top wines to seek out. Interest also rose in the wines when Fernando Pardini of 'Slow Wine' described her as the female counterpart of Il Marroneto, a producer that is getting a lot of plaudits and something of a cult following.
