This is a wine that will reward you for decades, and still (in a wine world dominated by £1000 Bordeaux's) provides a huge amount of bang for your buck. With fruit from vines up to 130 years old from the famous Ebeneezer district of Barossa, this wine is a masterclass in how to achieve balance and elegance in a full bodied wine, but more than that, it's downright delicious! Very pure, and lifted with a spicy pepperiness and gorgeous black fruits, the palate has amazing richness yet stunning restraint.
