A sure fire crowd-pleaser with its soft plum notes, warmth and velvety tannins.There's a note of leather, blackberry compote and polished coffee bean. Good structure but certainly without big or harsh tannins. Really joyful all round, and jolly good value!

Chateau la Guillaumette are a rare example of a small Bordelais family domaine wanting to make honest, natural wines without high prices, fuss or fanfare. Estate duties are split between brothers Antoine and Alexandre. Farming organically, and opting to use no SO2 throughout vinification, with only one small addition at bottling, this is Bordeaux in its most authentic and untampered with.
