Tasting Notes
Gentle herbal notes - cooked quince, white flowers, meadow balm and green apple. Lovely mouthfeel on the palate – a quince-like fibrousness that bridges the exotic fruits and flower petal perfume, bringing everything together in a complete and harmonious package. Rich enough to pair with spicy, exotic summer fayre, but aromatic and with a deftness of touch that would compliment the purest of sushi. A lovely organic aperitif and it seems to be getting better every vintage....
More Info
We’re proud to have been one of the first agents to bring high-quality Bulgarian wine to the attention of UK wine drinkers, and Edoardo Miroglio has always been our Number One. Wine lover Edoardo searched high and low to find the perfect spot to grow Pinot Noir in Bulgaria. The piece of land he chose is on the eastern side of the Thracian Valley. The Saint Ilia hills shade the area from the freezing Baltic winds while a natural lake nearby regulates the temperature. As the vines here age and the team gains more insight into the nuances of the Thracian Valley terroir, these wines go from strength to strength.
