Tasting Notes
This has a beautiful mousse, fine bready and yellow stone fruit aromas and flavours, with a dry and incisive palate and amazing mineral tingle on the very fresh finish. Very impressive indeed as intro to Andrea's range, and with much promise for a long potential to cellar. "Lovely balance between savouriness and the beginning of lemon fruit. Great, complex length and lasting sparkle." Walter Speller, Jancisrobinson.com 90% Chardonnay, 10% Pinot Noir, aged for between 18-30 months in steel and a further 3 months in bottle

DECANTER MAGAZINE SIX TOP PRODUCERS TO KNOW Andrea Arici is one of the most highly praised growers in the area. He previously worked for esteemed producer Bellavista with legendary sparkling winemaker Mattia Vezzola, and at the tender age of 20, decided to recover some old terraced vineyards that his family owned that had been abandoned for some years. Keen to communicate his terroir, Andrea solely produces wines without added dosage, with full respect to the natural environment that flourishes around the vines. The terroir has perfectly draining active limestone, capable of giving great minerality and salinity to the wines. Andrea chooses to forgo dosage to give maximum transparency to his wines.
