One thing that never fails to make us happy here at Swig, is seeing a vineyard filled with life. And no, we're not talking about the grapes growing on the vines, but the life beneath and around them, wildflowers growing between the rows, and the air buzzing with insects, bees and birds. Less monoculture, more diversity! And it's something that we love to see at Weingut Christoph Bauer, located north of Vienna, in the region of Weinviertel. Gruner Veltliner rules here as king, and Christoph and his wife Heidi are dedicated to producing artisan wines with clear varietal and vintage character, balancing traditions with modern innovations.
