A family domaine of 28 hectares. Bruno's son Maxime took over from his father in 2014. The property is in the south-west corner of the appellation, and the soil here is granitic, so, as they put it, "un terroir granitique pour un Muscadet atypique" - an atypical Muscadet from an atypical terroir. The main difference here is how wonderfully intense the wines are. Serious and beautifully shaped - the minerality keeps the wine so focused and taut. The wine needs time - Maxime makes some cuvées that he keeps for over 8 years on their lees - the 'Vieilles Vignes'.
