An extremely intriguing one off release from Buisson, who found themselves with some superb quality Loire Sauvignon, as a friend down in the Loire wasn't making one of his regular Cuvee's this year. They fermented and aged it as they would one of their Meursault, giving you more richness, texture and body than your classic Loire Sauvignon Blanc. It has a real air of Savage Salt River to it. refined, measured but really interesting. Lovely salinity and gentle floral notes to it.

We don’t come across producers like this often, that aren't already being imported to the UK. In fact, it would be just a few like this in a lifetime, such is the quality of terroir they have, but more importantly what they’re doing with it.
