Winner of 'Coup de Coeur' for best wine in its appellation in 2018, we think this 2019 is even better! This has the trademark refreshing character of Bordeaux of yesteryear, with that pencil graphite character, which still gives me a kick every time I nose that classic aroma. Graphite, autumnal fruits, coffee bean, soft, subtle leather, and typical lovely Bordeaux gravelly character, with tissue fine tannins, while retaining a warmth and generosity. It's got the aromas and some of the flavours of the Medoc, but with the charm of the right bank.
