Ombrone Cupano 2022

Notes of wine soaked oak in the cellar, with cedar, sandalwood, some crushed punnet fruits, verging to blackberry, with enough herbaceous notes, to keep it savoury. The grip that comes from the tannin is excellent, and keeps the wine interesting, and gives it this slightly more classical character. It still has a hint of Tuscany about it, and the elegant fruit of Cupano. Drinking now, absolutely. It's wonderful. This will easily cellar for a decade but will be at it's best in 3 to 4 years.
