Amélie & Charles Sparr

Charles was introduced to us by the Buisson boys  as well as by Antoine Gouffier of Domaine du Bouchot.

Sparr was one of the big names of Alsace. The brand was sold a few years ago, but the young Charles Sparr clung on to the best vineyards of his family’s estate, and with his wife, Amélie, is making some outstanding wines from them. They're not only organic, but Demeter certified biodynamic too, following in the footsteps of Zind-Humbrecht, as well as Matthieu Deiss, whose biodynamic wines of Vignoble du Reveur we import too.
