Axle Chenin Blanc Natte Valleij 2025

This is a gorgeous Chenin Blanc made by Alex Milner, owner and winemaker of Natte Valleij. He is famous for stunningly pure Cinsaults from Darling and Stellenbosch, but he started making a Chenin Blanc for his wife a few years ago, when she became fed up with only ever having red wine in the house. They hunted around to find the best grapes for their project and found a Darling vineyard planted in 1985, comprised of dry-farmed, ocean-facing bush vines on decomposed granite. The result is absolutely divine. I loved it! It's superb for the quality. And it's become, unexpectedly, very sought after.
