Tasting Notes
Fruit for this comes from Cru vineyard of Castelletto, in Monforte d’Alba and it's aged for 24 months in Austrian Oak. "Pale purple. Blueberry, raspberry, forest floor, and earth. Grapefruit, mushrooms, and paprika. A touch of chocolate and smoke. The palate is packed with fresh sour cherry, followed by a hint of white pepper. Sandy tannins, racy acidity, and a touch of sea salt that lingers on the tongue. A long, austere finish. Vibrant, fresh, and complex - simply beautiful. A truly contemporary wine where elegance and the pure expression of the commune come together. The neoclassical standout wine of this tasting - it captivated us and will surely captivate you too."
