The 2024 has arrived and we're absolutely buzzing about it! To say we’re head over heels would be an understatement. This vintage is bursting with vibrant, peachy aromas right off the nose, laced with zesty lime and a whisper of oyster shell. And that finish? Think lemon syllabub creamy, citrusy perfection. On the palate, it crackles with energy, zippy, bright, and brimming with tension yet it's effortlessly drinkable. The length is incredible. This is one seriously impressive white: relaxed enough for a casual sip, yet polished enough to shine at a dinner party. Pair it with whitebait or a cold pint of prawns and you’re in for something special.

We found this in an ocean of Spanish wines at a huge wine fair south of Madrid. We tasted hundreds of wines on that occasion, including about 70 Albarinos, and this was the only wine we imported! Crucially, the vineyards are in the Salnes Valley, influenced by the large saline estuary of Ria de Arousa and the weather of the Atlantic ocean. This is the original heart of Galician wine made from Albarino, where you get excellent ripeness balanced by scintillating coastal freshness.
