Rare wine alert! Thief in the Night is a beautifully perfumed Grenache based blend from the best Grenache country, Piekenierskloof. It's from the very same vineyard as Eben Sadie's Soldaat! With stunning perfume and purity, there's just a little more depth and brooding fruit here than Follow the Line, with some fynbos/garrigue notes, spice and a gentle meatiness too, with fresh acidity and soft tannins.

It's been a decade since Duncan Savage released his first wines under his own label. Back then, he was producing Platter 5 Star wine after 5 star wine for the esteemed Cape Point Vineyards, and cementing himself as the Cape's foremost authority on the Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon variety.
