Champagne Moutardier Carte d'Or NV

I honestly cannot imagine a more delicious mouthful of Champagne for this price and if I had to design Champagne perfection for under £35, this would be it. Citrus fruit, orange blossom mingling beautifully with baked apples and the mouth-watering scent of fresh bread and brioche. Really vibrant and well-balanced on the palate, with fabulous soft bubbles, bright acidity and long, savoury finish. So moreish! Great as an aperitif, with food, at a party and as a celebratory glass - it ticks all the boxes. Carte d'Or is kept in their cellar for 6 years before disgorgement! Current bottling is 65% vintage 2020, 35% reserve wines from older vintage. Dosage 5g/l. Clay/limestone soils.
